Each country is free in the interpretation of recommendations and establishment of its own standards.

 In 2018, a comparison of international policies on electromagnetic fields (power frequency and radiofrequency fields) was written by Rianne Stam, Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM) – National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (The Netherlands).
